Dennis Kamstra has been actively hunting with bow and arrow for 48 years.

He and his wife, Cathy, reside in Washougal, WA and Polokwane, South Africa. He has authored numerous articles on hunting big game with traditional archery gear; as well as writing Tips From the Oldtimer for the past 6 years.

Dennis is Director of Marketing for McDonald Pro-Hunting International, which is a 50 year old safari company based in South Africa. He is a regular member of Professional Bowhunting Society and active in Safari Club International as well as local bow hunting organizations.
