How do I make a picture next to my forum posts?
Log in to your account at tradbow.com. Click on Campfire Forums, then Profile.

That picture is called an Avatar. It can be a photo, cartoon image or abstract photo that you use to identify yourself on our forums. There are two ways you can load an image. The easiest way I have found is to use the Gravatar (Globally Recognized Avatar) option because it automatically makes the image the right size, and it can appear in other forums that you visit. You can upload any number of photos and easily switch between them. The account is free and they have not spammed me or used my email address for anything other than what they promised. The address is www.gravatar.com
A few things to remember when using a Gravatar are:
1) the email address you use at Gravatar.com must match the email address you use on tradbow.com,
2) both email addresses should be typed in all lower case letters.
3) if you still have trouble getting it to show up, erase the "http://" text in the Other Avatar URL box.

To use the Avatar option for this site only, enter the web address where the image is located, (Direct Link from your Photobucket account) or use the Upload Avatar button to choose an image on your computer. Be sure the image size is 100 pixels by 100 pixels.
How do I post a picture in the forum?
The best way to put a photo in your post is to use an online photo storage site like Photobucket, Snapfish, Shutterfly, Flickr, etc. Most of them have free accounts. For this FAQ I will use Photobucket, but I believe the sharing links are similar on the other sites.
Once you have set up your account at www.photobucket.com and are logged in, go to My Albums and select Albums & Upload. Under the Upload box you will see a blue link that says "more options". Click on that and set your upload size to Medium or Large. Please do not go any bigger than that for our site. (You only need to do this once.) Save.
Click on the blue box that says "Upload images & videos".
Find the jpeg image on your computer and choose it.
When the image is done uploading you can give it a title, description and/or tag. I would just suggest a title so you can find it in your Photobucket album later. Click Return to Album.
Now you should see your images below that upload box. When you hover over the image you want you will see several ways that you can share this image. For our forum you want the IMG line. Just click anywhere in that line and copy the entire line. You need the entire tag and it looks something like this.
"[IMG] http://i735.photobucket.com/albums/.../RobinFish0809.jpg[/IMG]"
Paste that line into your forum post and hit preview to see your post with your picture in it. Finish your post and click Save to post your thread/reply so others can see your image.
