Hunter Ethics, Respect, and ATVs: Collisions with Tradition

Printer-Friendly Format

A panel discussion sponsored by the Washington Chapter of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers

June 15, 6:00 p.m., 2315 North Discovery Place, Spokane Valley

Are you concerned about ATV abuse in the places you hunt? Have you had your hunts ruined or experiences degraded by ATV abusers while in the field? Are you tired of it?

Join fellow sportsmen who feel the same way on Tuesday, June 15, at 6:00 p.m. at the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife Headquarters west of the Mirabeau Parkway in the Spokane Valley for a panel discussion on hunter ethics, respect, and ATVs.

Panelists including Greg Munther, Montana state Backcountry Hunters and Anglers Chapter Chair and retired Forest Service Ranger; Tommy Petrie, Pend Oreille County Sportsmen's Club President; Joe Mirasole, Washington Backcountry Hunters and Anglers Chapter Chair; and other invited guests. The panelists will explore hunter perspectives on safeguarding our hunting traditions, wildlife, and their habitat by enhancing the image of hunting and hunters as leaders in wildlife conservation.

For more information, call Joe at 509-385-2658 or check out Backcountry Hunters and Anglers' website www.backcountryhunters.org.
