Return Address Labels

By Robin Conrads
Printer-Friendly Format

I am packing for the Compton Rendezvous this weekend and I remembered to pack my return address labels. Here is a handy little tip that might help you avoid writer's cramp:

At every shoot or show you go to there are always a few times when you have to fill in your name and address for raffle tickets (buy a lot), mailing lists for vendor's catalogs, subscription renewals, club memberships, etc. Those address labels in your junk drawer or office desk can really come in handy. Plus they are easier to read than most guy's handwriting. You might still have to write a phone number or email address, but this sure saves time.

Just make sure the information is correct. I can't tell you how many times they misspell our last name! And look for the sticker or self-adhesive ones rather than the lick 'em and stick 'ems. You can get them by donating to many worthy charities. Go put them with your checkbook right now.

If you are going to be at the Compton Rendezvous this weekend, please stop by the TBM booth and say hi. I have a free gift for the first 50 people who mention the Tip of the Week newsletter. I have perfected the art of "looking busy" but mostly I'm just chatting with other subscribers and friends. Catch me there or any time around the camp.
