Self Photo

This is an idea I came up with years ago to take my own picture in the field without carrying a tripod. Works best with the same digital cameras of today.
First you need a camera that has a tripod insert tapped 1/4-20 (meaning 1/4" hole, 20 threads per inch). Just about all cameras have this insert.Second you will need an arrow with a 1/4" inside diameter (Terminator arrow from Walmart, has the right diameter and is cheap to purchase). Remove the nock from the arrow. Third, you will need to pick up a stainless steel screw, 1/4 -20 x 2" long, cut the head or have someone do it for you if you don't have the proper tools. Fourth, coat the cut off end about 1" of the threads with epoxy and insert in arrow 1" and let set up. Add a field tip, put it in your quiver and you are ready to go.
